Does the underlying database of an ECM system make a difference during the migration (Oracle, MS SQL, etc.)?

Since migration-center uses the application programmer's interfaces (APIs) provided by the ECM system vendors, it does not matter which underlying database system an ECM system uses. For example, you could use migration-center in order to migrate documents from Documentum on Oracle to Documentum on MS SQL.
